I just ordered the SE Compensator for my bike(2009 flhx) here's the link. its Surdyke Harley, you get 20% off and free shipping........

Part Number-40100061 enter the part number in the search on the website below.....

https://www.surdyke.com/AdvSearch.asp

Your gonna need the adhesive also.here's a link for that(its not a motorcycle shop, its a chemical company)getting it through this site will save you around $25.00 not going through Harley. this is the exact adhesive the harley kit has.

http://www.chembar.com/adhesives/lord-maxlok-mx-t6/

Good luck Brother, I'm doing mine next week..........

agreed with all this plus add at least the thrust washer from gmr if not the entire compensaver. I added the compensaver/washer and it makes a big difference.

I didn't know Harley still sold the complete kit with the included rotor?
On the Harley page it's "out of stock", do you already have it or did you just place an order?

If you don't have it yet you might be getting a call that you have to order Screamin' Eagle Big Twin Compensator-42200064A and Rotor (Part No. 30041-08A): 2006-2011 Dyna, 2007-2011
Softail (except 2008-2009 FXCW, 2008-2011 FXCWC,
2009 FXSTSSE3, 2010 FXSTSE and 2011 FXSTSE2)
and 2007-2010 Touring models separately.

===================

FYI,i just bought the 40100061 kit inc the required new rotor for my 09 flhtcu from surdyke 3-4 wks which was in stock and shipped.

The HD site has shown that comp kit as out of stock since i 1st looked 11/2014 .

I installed the se comp kit along with GMR's Compensaver oiling tray on my bike that had 9,700 miles on it when i bought it 11/2014 with a bad comp and have approx 1,500 miles on it so far with new comp & gmr oiling tray and all is good.

With bad comp the bike felt very jittery/not smooth feeling when starting out in 1st gear almost like there was up with the clutch and it had the dreaded loud bang when starting too with the bad comp.

But all that's gone with the new comp,bike starts with no more loud bang and it now takes off nice and smooth from dead stop in 1st gear & new comp is quest so far with GMR's fiber washer in place of the washer with needle bearings the SE comp kit comes with.

========================

Good luck with the new Baker comp and please report back to us how it does as you rack up the miles on it which by all indication should be just fine.

I hope the SE comp i installed does well with the additional oil the compensaver i installed provides,only time & miles with tell the real story on that one.

Yup,HD sure does have it figured out along with plenty of other things thru the yrs too!/LOL!!!

But the HD's just have that " SOLE " most other bikes sold today will never have which is what keeps us coming back for more.
