Default Anybody Know how to Remove the Insides From Front Turn Signals?

I just bought HD passing lamps and a front turn signal kit for a 2010 Street Glide. Would like to have them powder coated Matte Black, but can't figure out how to remove the reflector and socket from the turn signals. I've seen others powder coated so there must be a way. Anybody know how?

Thanks,

Eric

Its held in with a rubber grommet. Take a tiny screw driver and gently push in the wires from the outside. Then work at pulling the reflector out. I used and old 90 degree angle pick and stuck it down by the bulb contact poits and work the reflector out. Probably an allen wrench may work too....

Thanks! I tugged on it with a dental pick, but probably didn't try hard enough.

If they are old, they may be encrusted with dirt, try spraying wd 40 or silicone spray to break the seal and they should come right out.
