Ride her to work in the rain. After 21 miles of bumper to bumper traffic, with me split lane'ing 1/2 the way there...I go to cross some railroad tracks. I stop at the stop sign, slowly precede across the railroad tracks...
Front tire, no problem. back tire?????????
Whoa, a perfect 90 degree drift to the right, she goes down and tosses me to the pavement.
I was 1/2 a block from work. Was that a co-worker that just gave me the ugly look because I was blocking traffic?
Stood there, in the rain, counting my fingers and toes. 10? Check! 10? Check. Pick the bike up. Try again. Damn, this Electraglide is HEAVY! Third time is the charm. Ride her the 300' to the parking lot. Still shaking.
On account of the heavy rains, I was wearing a modular helmet. Still got a fat lip from the face dive to the pavement.
See the insurance adjuster tomorrow.

These damn two wheeled vehicles can be dangerous to the rider's health in a heartbeat. Hope the insurance treats you well... tomp dd50

Klockworks windshield
Installed a flare windshield wow what a difference I didn't realize had bad I had it. I rode about 100 miles in very windy conditions. Cant do much about the cross wind but when heading Into the wind what a difference

did 50 miles in the AM before the cold weather came back today here in the northeast and with the help of a few members here I made up a siren for my security system and wrote up a HOW TO for my site.. works great and total cost was $16 because I wanted a namz plug otherwise it would have been $6...

How tall is that Klock Werks shield? I want better windbreak but don't like the look of the tall shields compared to the height of the stock Streetglide Special windshield.

Got most of the stage 2 installed. Still need to readjust my preload down another half turn before I start her up and waiting for a day I can actually ride for a few hrs. Currently just above 30 here
Rims (powdercoat) and ditching the whitewalls that the PO thought were a good idea on a glide is next up.
Hopefully I'll have it all done when spring hits.

i discovered a strange squeak. anyone want to help diagnose? it stops squeaking when i sit on it and starts squeaking when i get up. what is my fat *** holding together??? squeaking sounds much worse on the video than irl.
