Took my cfr knockoff's off so next weekend it'll be ready to put on my v&h monster rounds that the UPS man will be dropping off Tuesday. The cfr's were actually awesome sounding on the stock headpipes, but way to open on the dresser duals with too much rasp in between shifts. May as well be running straight pipes. I knew I'd lose some low end torque with the dresser duals, but combined with the knockoff's there was absolutely no backpressure & 6th gear roll ons were pathetic. Should get some backpressure back with the monster rounds.

Haven't really heard the real one's, maybe just going by once in a while, but they were nice and deep. Just not enough backpressure & I hated the rasp between gears or coasting to a stop. I probably could have re-wrapped them or found a different baffle.

New Stage IV Build
Picked up my new bike today after installation of the 103 Stage IV race kit with V&H S.S. Hi-Output 2-into-1 exhaust. Gonna take a couple of weeks to get it broke in, and it's hard to hold it back, but it's gonna be a runner!!!
Called it a day and drank some more beer.
