When I decatted my 2011 RK I lost low end torque and it was drastic. The bike has 2.5" baffled RCX slip ons. I did install an Fp3 and Stage 1 breather, bike ran great, still the low end torque was poor. On a whim , last Sunday I installed a pair of DK Custom TTI's that I left over from a Heritage I had. They were a fail on my Heritage staggered slip ons and major success on the FL. The low end is back, 100%. No remap needed and bike runs the best it has since mods began. Cooler, no surge, pulls gears better and earlier, lost 1 mpg. Mufflers running a light grey color and exhaust sounds great.

DK has good stuff. Big City Thunder's Thunder Monsters do a great Job returning low and midrange torque too. I used them on a Heritage, running Python 3's, with great success. Just adding to the above. tp dd50

3 hole fluid change with a new filter (synthetic fluids).
Only a couple more things on the check list before the extended weekend ride (4 dayer) next weekend.

Great wheels. I sure am glad I don't have to clean them.

Is the rear wheel that you can't see also the same?

No the rear is still the stock spoke wheel. I don't think I will change it since it is so hard to see.

I did the same thing when I installed a new chromed aftermarket wheel in front on my Ultra a few years back. I figured no one could see it so why throw away the money on a rear wheel.
Back when I had spoked wheels - I replaced them immediately to cast wheels in case I got a flat in the middle of nowhere. A lot easier to fix.....and to clean.
