Yep. If I wasn't using ear buds, I was wearing plugs. Never ride without plugs, the wind noise is the problem. TINNITUS doesn't help either. Hearing protection is important, whether on short rides or long. tp

Little more work on my budget RK project. Solo seat, rocket fin slip-ons, serviced front brakes. Previous owner had stripped 12 point caliper bolts. Took me 3 hours, 1 broken easy out, 3 drill bits and a dremel to remove them. 21" wheels or different bar set-up next.

Installed new shock, washed, clay bared and waxed. That was some much needed time in the garage today. Now if the rain would stop I would ride and see how the new shocks feel.

my kingdom for a bike jack!!!
JNR air ride is done except the shocks since last thursday, Friday i excitedly borrowed cousins pitbull jack only to find that the bottle jack is bad, no amount of priming would make it work...
im in limbo until the replacement jack gets here sometime this week and the worst
party is its supposed to be 50+ next couple days

Common sense.
Common sense: is coming out to the garage to ride your freshly shod motorcycle and realize that you should install a new tire valve at least every other time you put on a new tire though considering the expense of a new tire stem, every time would be cheap insurance. Or how I've developed common sense.

Installed a HD's LED headlight and had work done on the stock seat by MCC.

finally completed JNR install took longer than normal and it wasn't just because of all the photos for the HOW TO for my site..
ended up they sent me wrong fittings for rushmore model so that took a few days
for correct fittings to arrive then we found that my cousins pitbull bike jack was not working, tried every trick pitbull said to try but it ended up being the jack itself so he had to order a new replacement.. after 5 days of waiting for the replacement I said screw it and decided to dig out my harbor freight yellow jack that was modified for my dyna... it worked GREAT!!
would I trust it to work on the bike lifted high up HELL NO due to the small foot print but for just swapping the shocks it was great..
