Wouldn't a hardwired set up be preferable to a Bluetooth rig?

Again, aren't you limited to what types of ear buds you can use when going Bluetooth?

Thanks

You could go with the Cardio G2 setup that is bluetooth. I have no experience with this product and the HD Boom setup maybe cheaper but this is another option to consider.

You can buy a plug on eBay that converts the 7 pin to a 1/8" outlet.

Yes, that's what I use on my Ultra so I only have to use ear buds. Won't work on a Street Glide tho without a kit of some sort or an Iron Cross mod.

How do the ear buds work for you?

What needs to be done on a Street Glide to make this work?

Thanks

see post #8. You pull your radio, send it in for a mod and have a headphone jack installed to plug in your ear buds

Wouldn't I be better getting an Ultra console with the headphone jack?

Probably, if the wiring is there but I doubt if it is. You would still need the adaptor for the 3mm plug. $20

I have not had time to contact Iron cross to inquire. Good Luck

Stand alone services switched headphone output.
Just called and talked to them and was told its a $105 + shipping if that is the only service being done with a 2 day turn around + shipping time.

What is the little plug already in front of the HK radio (lower right corner)?
