My 2004 Road King starter usually just spins. It engages occasionally and starts up, but it does NOT engage much more often.

What do you think is wrong?
Is there anything difficult about removing the starter?

Where can I buy parts at a discount (starter or repair kit) etc?

two bolts, a batt cable, and a simple wire connect is all...gotta pull the primary tho and take the gear out.....prob could be the spring or the starter clutch
