2011 SG 103". I've got a Jackpot head pipe & 4" Rinehart slip-ons.

Has anyone ever used Big City's Thunder Monster QQ baffles in conjunction with their existing baffles?

My Dyno guy said that the Rineharts are too 'free flowing', which can cause some loss of low-end torque.

The QQ's are supposed to go at the exit end of the head pipe, right before the slip-on muffler attaches.

The QQ's allegedly quiet down the Rineharts, while restoring torque in the lower range.

Any truth to these claims?

Bump.

 

They are not that quiet but do keep the back pressure. I ran the QQ baffles in some strait fishtails it gave them a deeper sound still loud to me.
