Thanks, Traveler... I couldn't believe my good fortune in finding this gem. It is tricked out really good. All lights, front and rear have those chrome HD visors with the logo on them for an extra touch. It catches people's eyes all the time.

I'm partial to the 09+ touring models, but just wanted to give you a thought, since you are looking for a RK probably used, you might want to look into an ex-police bike. The price is usually pretty good, and you know they have been serviced regularly.

My vote would be 09 for the RK. You get the "new" frame the cat is not in the header pipe and you can use the "new" Speedo / Tach that will work on 09+ years. as others have already posted everyone will have there own opinion. this is mine. ;-)

In reality all Kings are good bikes....

Default Y2K, of course!

I'm going to go with the 2000 Road King. Why? Because that's what mine is. :P hahaha

A lot of people poo-poo the Italian Magneti Marelli fuel injection. But it works just fine for me. And if you need/want to adjust something (cold or warm idle, for example), it's beyond simple. Besides, I rode nothing but Ducatis before I bought my Road reKliner.
