Eglide CVO, cruise not working
The cruise control on my '04 Eglide CVO has not worked in quite a while and I need to get if fixed. Anyone have a good prodcedure to test it etc.? Both the front and rear brakes seem to work well and the brake light does stay on at all when the brake pedal and lever are released. I did go through a procedure that a member on here said worked on '05 FLH and it did not work on mine. Anyone out there have a similar problem and a fix? Thanks

I just went through this on my 06. Do this test to see if clutch lever, brake lever or pedal and roll off switch is working. Hopefully its one of these components causing failure.
Mine was none of the above. It would work intermittently. My green light would always light up, as if my cruise was all working but it was not. Mine was the cruise module. They are no longer available new for our era bikes and they say its a non serviceable part. I found one from a low mileage wreck on ebay from Fallen cycles. Even used they are not cheap. I put it on my bike and cruise works flawlessly.
I will say, I took my old one apart and inside it was full of oxidation/ corrosion. I cleaned it all with electrical contact cleaner. I have a feeling it may work after that but never went through testing it. Module is located under left side cover.
