Well I just ordered a C&C solo seat with pillion pad and riders backrest from DR V-twin. The guy AL I spoke with when ordering from the DR was great and they gave me a better price than C&C did when I called. Its gonna be a long 7-10 days waiting.

Question how are you guys securing your solo seats? I dont want my new seat to get jacked if I can help it. Also you guys with C&C seats do they mount with one bolt or two?

You will enjoy it. Be patient breaking it in, it takes awhile but is worth it in end. Literally.

Sorry, ended before I was finished. The seat mounts with a bracket under and a single nut is visable. I dont have a locking mechanism on mine. After having a Fatboy stolen, I am not as concerned about my seat as I once was, but maybe should look into one.

So how much did you pay from Dr. V-Twin if I can ask?

 

After looking and looking and talking I finally ended up ordering a solo seat for my 2011 SG today directly from Chuck at C&C. I have to say that I was very impressed with the time Chuck took with me in making sure he had it all correct as to what I wanted in the way of seat mods. I'm now beginning to count down until I get it.
