Default Need a new seat

Need a new seat for my 09 Ultra. Thinking about a Mustang. Any advise on what everyone likes would help.

I purchased a Sundowner and when I found the seat a little too wide on the front of it and cutting into the inside of my legs. It also was still a little too high for me and I wanted it lower.
I sent that seat to Mean City Cycles and these guys can work MIRACLES and not for a high price. BEST $100 I spent on my bike by far.
Tell them what you want and they will talk to you and tell you what they can do. They will not try to add on a bunch of items and make you spend more then you need to. Call them they are GREAT!!

Call Chuck at C&C Seats. Tell him what bothers you about your current seat and what your looking for in a new seat, if they can help he'll let you know, If they can't he'll tell you that too!! Don't forget to ask about HD Forum member discount. No matter what, you'll get a schooling on motorcycle seats!

Funny thing about the search feature. It brings up a whole lot of threads that may or may not pertain to what you're looking for. Even though it pizz's some people off posting a thread is oft times faster.

Back on topic I have a mustang on EGC and both the myself and the wife love it.

I would send my stock seat to Mean City Cycles. Cheaper and if you do it during the winter months their turn around time was great. If you want a store bought, the Mustang's are the best IMO.

Yep...I've tried four different HD seats and Corbin. Mustang wins hands down, for both comfort and style. I've got the Super Solo with rider detachable backrest and the wide Passenger Pillon for when the wife wants to join me. That was the first upgrade I made to my SG.

I have a 2011 RKC. After much research, I went with Le Pera. The seat is awesome. I got a Maverick. Here is the link. That's all they make is Harley seats. They have been doing this since the early 70's. No Corbin, Sundowner, C and C bla bla bla.

Le Pera seats rock. Comfortable, impresivly tailored, great workmanship, etc. Check em out.
