well...sometimes my boss IS the best.....we have a big event here at our shop every year....he wants me to go put up posters to advertise it....he said..hey, tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day, why don't you stick the posters in your bags and take a ride to put them all up! wow....I guess I could do that...lol will probably be over 200 miles round trip...anyone got the day off tomorrow and want to ride along??????????

 

you mean you have to be asked to ride??? wow that is an everyday thing here. unless it is raining or below 40. then it stays in the gargage..

 

Feel lucky... Riding is frowned on here at work, even if your taking your annual required MSF course. Then your hobby is taking time from the command, and don't get me started on the endless lectures of "why does HD cost so much."

Count your blessings no matter how simple they are.

 

TO34 you mean to say that your job looks down on riding? I never heard of that. How can a manager tell you how to get to work?

 

I don't ride to work every day cause I keep my 2 dogs in our outside kennels here so I always have them to deal with. I'm just saying that tomorrow I'll be gettn paid to ride all day....

 

We have a lot of riders where I work..they even organized a weekly ride. Lots of bikes in the parking lot on nice days!

 

thats awesome...wish we had that here....my boss is big into riding so on Fridays if its nice day alot of times he'll let us go early and we'll go ride....

 

I guess I was fortunate as my employer bought me a new roadking every year and insisted that I ride it at least 40 hours a week, fortunately I did get 3 days off a week so I could ride my own bike lol

Sounds like a decent guy to be your boss. I wish I could get paid to go riding for the day.
