Here is my 2010 with a Sundowner. It seems a bit lower than stock, but it's an awesome seat for 2-up. Comfy for rider and especially the passenger! The pictures are of the "smooth" Sundowner. I picked up the "smooth" cheap on Ebay. I liked it so much I sold it and bought the "Street Glide Stitched" Sundowner for my permanent 2-up seat.

Seems to push me down and forward a bit. Definitely a comfortable seat, more so for the passenger. When I ride two up I always use the Sundowner. I purchased it with the Street Glide stitching and it looks great.

definitely moves you forward and it seems a bit higher to me it is a comfy seat and as most have said on here more for the passenger , I bought it strictly so my Girlfriend would be more comfortable on rides , I M O it is a big ugly fat seat that takes away from the sleek lines of the bike and as soon as I'm riding solo the stocker goes right back on

I use the sundowner for 2 up riding and the stock for 1 up. I feel the sundowner lowers me and moves me forward.

Thanks everyone for your pics and opinions. I had sundowner on my Street Bob for longer trips and I loved it. Probably will be getting one soon.....

Dave, get your posts up so you can watch for one in the FS section. I see them advertised there often.

Guess I'm the only one that doesn't like it. When the seat was new it felt nice but now with over 13k miles the seat feels like I'm sitting on the seat pan with no padding. I only put it on now when the wife rides with me. I need to get it worked on I guess.

I have one and I use it only when taking a trip longer than 30 mins with the wife. For me the C&C fastback I use 90% of the time is much more comfortable with lots better back support. The fastback is not made for 2 up so she is a trooper for riding on it to the bar. She loves the sundowner. If I use my backrest with it for me its ok for long trips. I feel like I am sitting on the tank with the sundowner. It is narrower than the stock seat in the front and does lower you a bit but it definitely pushes you forward. Most of all I hate the way it looks. Like a big couch on the bike. I lose the hotrod look that the C&C gives me.

Interesting thread... anyone know of a seat that will move the rider back, but not higher. For the passenger no higher, but wider seat?
