Default purchasing an 05 Roadking

hey guys,
I am looking into buying an 05 RoadKing from a friend it has 25k miles & regular service, is there any issues/problems with the 05 RoadKing I should be looking for?

I have read about the cam tensioner replacement what Milage should this be performed??

appreciate the help.

None w my 05, just ride! I did mine at 10k, but really just cuz I wanted the bigger cam. S&s 551's. I have read people here not doing it ay all or even 40k miles being fine.

It's due. The book says around 40K; I did mine at 25K and saw enough wear to make me happy I planned to install gear drive cams - no more tensioners.

I see lots of bikes cheaper in the US. Canadian bikes are alot more expensive, don't ask we why as I have no FN idea.

Beautiful bike though love the color. Ride it and enjoy 2k is a small price to pay for happiness and immediate gratification.

must be a good friend, cuz if you dont care about color, you could find one around $9k and paint it whatever you want.
