Default Stage 1 vs stage 2 air

So quick question. What's the difference between a stage one air kit vs stage 2 air kit? Is it a little bit more air flow or a lot?

most of the stg 2 kits flow about 20 percent more

Unless you have significant headwork done, the engine can't even use all the air available from a stage 1.
