Default strange noise in neutral

2011 ultra with 500 miles on it. Just finished up a 100 mile ride and while pulling it into the garage I noticed a weird noise. When the bike is in neutral there is a rather loud rattling/knocking noise coming from the rear area of the engine. If you pull in the clutch lever the noise goes away. If you pull in the clutch lever and shift into gear, the noise also goes away. It's only there when its sitting in neutral.

Mine had the same symptoms and the dealer replaced the inner primary bearing.

Hmmm, think its safe to ride it until the 1k service then have them fix it at the same time?

I would take it in right now. It may break down before you make it to 1k. Then you're screwed.

Yes inner primary bearing seems to be the problem also when you roll the bike forward or backward hot and cold do you hear any clunking like a bearing grinding on a wore spot another tell tale. Not a bad fix you can do it yourself with the manual and just have someone do the bearing removal and repress the new one in.
