Old but good thread. I was looking at geared cams on my 01 but am thinking much more about going big bore this winter.
Looking at some of the kits and wondering if that's the simple, easy, reliable way to go?
Zippers is close to where I'm wintering out due to work, if I do this it will be in the back of my toyhauler.

Stroke it. Even a mid stroker yields nice power boost with stock bore.

I wouldn't take my 96" (10K miles 07 twin cam) bike out of state with out a complete tool kit, acccess to the internet, paid up road side assistance, and contacts in each city along the way.
not sure I understand why? 88s and 96s are the same bore.
