Default Roadking mufflers backin out

For some time now my right muffler keeps backing off of the pipe. The clamp isnt loosening up. it ends up backing all te way off untill its almost 1/2 in left of pipe and all the way backed up on the haner. I am getting the fullsac conversion soon. Is te problem on the muffler side or the pipe side. anyting i do to prevent this from happenin every 400 miles or so, it is getting kind of annoying.

You could try cutting an extra slot or two in the neck of your slipon. This would allow it to draw tighter against your pipe.

Go with true duals, never have that problem again.

Did you use Harley clamps? Anything else is less than adequate. No matter what clamp you use, they generally are one time use clamps only, meaning after they are torqued up, if you have to loosen you may as well replace. At the muffler at least. Those mufflers put a lot of pull on the connection when running hard.

I think it's a sign from the bike that it wants some aftermarket mufflers! Nothing that a little credit card action can't fix!
