Default Berserk ultra

While riding today my check engine light came on and the bike started idling at about 2200 RMP'S.

By the way I have a 2007 Ultra w/ Stage 1 AC, Power Commander from Fuel Moto, ( help Jamie!!!!!) and Supertraps w/ true duals.

After stopping and checking throttle cables, PC, etc. I headed home.

On the ride home the RPM's went to red line with no throttle response. I know I'm crazy for riding it like that but I've heard that before and I made it with little problems.

Once home I disconnected the PC and still no change. Immediately after starting the motor revs to red line.

I'm lost, any ideas?

Thanks,

Check your throttle stop screw. Sometimes they will work their way out. It is a Snap on #TTXR15TPE torx screw (5pt torx with a hole in the center). If this is what it is you have to reset so the blade is open .003-.004. Then when the engine is warm I will set with a data logger to 40 iac steps and locktite it in place.

Nah, you don't have to go to the dealer. Anybody's TTS, SERT, SESPT will work to use the data portion of the progam. You can watch tps voltage (.57) and see the iac steps. Even though they will only program one bike they will work on any bike to record data, clear codes and some will reset your AFV's.

Happened to me..The little stop screw is working it's way out backwards through the throttle body, holding the slide open. It isn't a stock part so don't lose it. Your settings need to be re-set by the dealer as there is no spec for that setting as it is a non-service part.Mine fell clear out.

I don't think it's the Power Commander. I removed it totally and it still revs to red line. Tell me more about this screw in the throttle body!

I'm going to look in the manual for it now.

Frayed throttle cable was the culprit.
