Default Sorry, another battery question...

Does anyone have any experience with the "ETX30L" batteries at Battery Mart. They are $97.95 including shipping. I'm wondering if Deka makes them as well. it seems like the same thing as the Deka ETX30L, but for ten bucks, I'm not willing to take the chance without some input. Here's the link.

Thanks,

Jerm

Deka ETX30L is the same as the HD 66010-97C battery. Both are eastern penn batteries.

go with the Deka for the 10 bucks , do not know of the other brand but we use Deka were I work and they seem to hold up good and some times companies will make a cheaper model and put different names on them

I just installed one. EXT30L is the East Penn/Deka model number. You can go to the East Penn website and verify. It will tell you that the EXT30L does not meet Harley OEM standards. Harley's spec is a 30 Ah battery and the EXT30L is a 26 Ah battery.
