Default Clutch cable routing

Hey Everyone

I'm helping a buddy install a set of apes on his Road King and we have a question about routing the clutch cable. Has anyone routed the clutch cable through the riser nacelle? If you have, can you post some pics? Thanks.

Routing the clutch cable through the nacelle was the best solution for my bike to keep the more flexible braided cable from catching on stuff while steering.

How does the tension end up when you turn the bars, I've thought about routing the cable like that but it looks like it would really get tight when its turned to the left?

bootleg: Sorry, no closeups. Some side views in my profile photo album do show more of the cable.
TUCCI: The cable is tied to the frame below the nacelle. The slack portion of the cable above the nacelle gets tightest at the right steering lock - but no so tight to interfere with steering. The cable rises the highest above the nacelle at the left steering lock - with about 1/4" clearance to the windshield.

My indy mechanic and I had a lot of trouble from the new, more flexible braided clutch cable (Magnum brand) catching on brackets, fasteners, etc. when steering with the cable routed the original way. After we worked and cussed for a couple of hours without a solution, he took inspiration for the through the nacelle cable routing from an E-glide that was in his shop. E-glides fasten the clutch cable to the fame in the area of the steering head and then have a guide that allows the cable to side through the fairing for steering.
