Vance & Hines ThrottlePac?
Anyone try one of these yet? They are for 08 and up touring bikes and CVOs. It supposedly takes the "lag" out of the throttle by wire HD system.
I just got one (Eastern Performance $188.00 shipped) and put it on last night, very easy install, just plugs into the harness that goes to the throttle body. I will test it tonight and post my findings tomorrow morning.
Anyone else try one yet?
Thanks for your time,
Varooom

[quote=HDV-GLIDE;8594833]Works if you twist the throttle fast, not so much when you roll on easy......Seems to work as advertised....at least I keep telling myself that after spending $186......[/quot
DITTO the above. My experience exactly. Up at cruising speed in 5 or 6 gear, the engine is slow to respond to rapid throttle openings. Tech support is very good; and they get you new maps quickly. All you need to do is tell them what pipes/mufflers, cams, and intake system you are running. You also need to let them know if the dealer has "flashed" the ECM. I bought mine used, and it is worth the $100 I spent IMO.
Good luck!

Wrong product guy....We are talking about the Throttle Pak not the Fuel Pak.....Common mistake...

Update
Just got back from my lunch test ride. Not noticable except for abrupt throttle changes like shifting.
With the throttlepac (TP), when closing the throttle and opening it up quickly (quick shifting) I do notice a difference otherwise, I can not tell its there.
So right now I have to say....does it work, yes it does on quick shifts, a little bit.
Is it worth 200 bones, no I don't think so.

I have had one on my built 106 RoadKing for over a thousand miles now.... it does exactly what it's supposed to do.... at slow speeds and conservative throttle requests it pretty much acts just like the stock FBW.... but twist the wick to WOT or do an aggressive roll on and it eleiminates the built in "delay" that Harley has on the FBW throttle and it acts just like a cable drive throttle would....no sense spending the money to get the 120 foot pounds of torque if you can't get the throttle to play nice....
