This. And I think the slash downs have a more classic, retro look that compliments the styling of the pre-09 RKs.

Slash ups may look better than slash downs to some because of the contour of the bags but boy do they catch their share of water when washing etc.

Slash up is the look I wanted. If rain and crap is falling into your pipes than turn the throttle more!
