Alaska Sheepskin seat cover owners..in here please
Trying to get ready for a cross country ride next month.....> PROVIDING, this HEAT WAVE we have going on takes a break.
Anyway, questions for those who have the Alaskan Sheepskin. Can you post a pic of the bottom? Trying to see if it can be trimmed down. I have an opportunity to grab one for a great price but based on what the guy tells me, it's too wide. The length is perfect.
Thank you in advance.

Better too big than too small. Trimming is no problem, just buy and try it first. It's just a piece of hairy leather.
BTW, well worth the money, no matter what you pay.

If you're on a Touring model the Alaska large size will fit just fine as is.

Easily trimmable (if that's a word). The leather is not thick so scissors or a razor blade would make short time of it.

Don't be cutting it up !.....any of the sheepskin that hangs over works as a heat shield as well.

I have the XXL size for my RKC with the Sundowner seat and it fits perfect. Thousands of miles and smiles...

Bought mine at Sturgis HD last year. Those 600 mile rides just kill my left butt cheek. It worked great. I just put it over the seat and some of it hung over the seat. No problem with it. It's a heat shield and seat cover all in one. I wouldn't trim it.

Love mine! size Large and hairy.... It is GREAT for 100+ Texas summers.... Monkey butt was a common problem previous years on on my sportbike and started this year on the Roadie.... All that was eliminated instantly with the Alaska Leather sheepskin...
