Hey, I have a Classic Trailer, model #CVT85SIM. It is a "V" nose style 8' trailer, but the "V" nose gives it another 2' of interior room to more than accomodate my 06 EG Classic. It rides about 15" off the ground, has a drop down loading ramp/door that makes loading and unloading a breeze. The "V" nose makes it more aerodynamic. The whole rig with just the bike loaded inside weighs in at 1540#. I have checked out the other models listed here and found this to be the best value. The prices listed do not include the freight charges.

BAXLEY is a very good choice for big bikes, it is designed to be easy one person loading by lowering the bed to the ground and has a front tire rig that captures the front wheel and keeps the bike straight up then just add straps and lock bed in up position, costs around 2500.00, they have a website do a google search for it.

I just bought an American Hauler Nite Hawk model, tandem axel, electric brakes on all wheels, 2 5/16 ball hitch, drop down ramp, side door, the landscape option, put in removable wheel chock, etc, has leveling jacks on rear, lights inside, bright v nose, with aluminum plate gravel guards, all for 3490, not a fancy hauler, but heavy duty with tandem axels, 15.5 feet long. cheers, price was right, zzzzzz

Don't overlook what your tow vehicle is rated for.

Just because you have a truck or SUV, that don't mean you can strap to a trailer and go.

Consider the fact that a brand new '06 F-150 may have as little as a 2,300 pound max trailer towing capacity!

Although some F-150s can haul trailers weighing more than 9k lbs, yours may not. GM and Dodge may have similar limitations, I don't know about others, just using Ford as an example.

1,200 lb trailer + 800 lb bagger = just about the max limit in this situation above.

Don't buy a bigger cart than a puny horse can tow.

I got a utility trailer from Home Depot for about $1200, added a couple of removable chocks for about $100, and a few strategically paced eye bolts. Hauls a sporty and a Heritage. They had some enclosed ones that were pretty nice too. I guess it comes down to what you want to spend.

I have the non-enclosed single aluminum standup bike trailer from this guy.
http://www.phoenix-trailers.com/
Mine is very well contructed of quality parts.
I can only imagine that he builds the enclosed "Pod" trailers the same way.
