Does anyone know if there is an existing plug in in the nacelle for the "Police" tachometers or is there some cut and splice needed. The police tach's that I have seen for sale have about a 12" or so pigtail and a plug on them. 2011 RKC.

Hey, I am also looking for same information as I got myself a very clean Police tach from a 09 Police Road King and would like to install it on my 09 FLHRC. If you got something to work, please share. Thanks,

 

I don't there there would be a tach plug on a civilian RK - the cop bikes have a unique wiring harness...

 

That is what I found out, no plug. I still have not done a tach on mine....soon.

 

I have an 08 RK POLICE , actual police bike not a special. I removed the tach and it is plug and play. I also have the tach and willing to sell it.

 

It is only plug and play to another FLHP (Road King Police). There is no plug for a tach on any non police Road King.
