Dealer Invoice Pricing FIND
While surfing the web a few minutes ago, I found a site that lists dealer invoice prices that INCLUDES Harley pricing. Nothing there yet on the 2012's but looks pretty good to me.
http://www.seedealercost.com/
Here's an example:
2011 CVO Road Glide Ultra
MSRP
$35,999.00
Invoice*
$28,800.00

nice to know....but if dealers won't even talk to you if you try to go below MSRP, it is of limited use.
I think the best I'm going to be able to do is drop the "setup-up fee" or if they're going to charge me a "set-up fee" then it should be set up for ME....which includes a lower seat and different handlebars, cause otherwise the set-up doesn't do me any good and I'm not paying $500 for them to bolt on the OE handlebars and top off the fluids.

It's nice to know - but here in California, it doesn't matter. The dealers stand together, and don't budge off MSRP on current models, with very rare exceptions. My local dealer gave me a discount on the seventh Harley I bought from him in a seven year period....
