Default Added Fork wind deflectors to Road King Wow !

I decided to try the fork wind deflectors I have heard so much about. I bought the powder coated black ones from Street Glide Deflectors on eBay. I have been reluctant to try them because I wasn't crazy about the look, but with the kind of long distance touring my fiancé and I do I wanted to give them a try.

All I can say is wow, I should have done it sooner. The best 50 bucks I have spent on the bike so far. I also have the fork baffle and must say that I feel like I am now riding in a calm little slipstream of air, just a gentle breeze is all that blows by at 70 MPH ! I had to double check the speedo was I really doing 70 ? It felt like 30. I have a 16 inch windshield that I look over and the air just passes right over my head with no more side to side buffeting that I had before. Yeah, I still don't care for the vampire look. If I was just riding to the local bar or Harley shop I probably wouldn't have them but for long distance touring the fork baffle and fork wind deflectors will make you smile.

Now to install them on my fiancée Street Glide !

I almost did that last winter. Instead I ended up with a Klock Werks Billboard Flare windshield. It's amazing how much air that thing deflects away from your hands.

I had a fairing bike once. An 04 Electra Glide Classic. I never could get used to a fairing. I feel too claustrophobic and disconnected from the bike with a fairing, but I did like how calm the wind was behind a fairing. now the wind problem is solved.

I added the deflectors with the intention of using them only for a trip I was taking. Now after using them I don't want to take them off because they cut so much of the turbulence along with the Memphis Shade Batwing.
The look is slowly growing on me.

I know what you mean, that's why I went with the Road Glide.

I read reviews from other riders/forums of those causing front-end vibrations. Keep us updated if this happens after a few rides...pls.
