I wouldn't be so fast to assume it's the PCIII. My bike did the same thing when I disconnected my PCV. I thought I had found the problem but a few days later the rear cylinder went out again. I would disconnect the PCIII completely and ride the bike a few days without it and see if that is really the problem before I purchased another PCIII.

It turns out teh PC 3 was the bandit and what I did because $$ was tight was I went to HD and had them map the ECM with my upgrades for now which cost me about $80 and it works for now until I can swing either another PC 3 or go with the Thundermax, i know the T-Max is 800 and the PC 3 is about 300, what do you guys think, and input is greatly appreciated

how does the bike run now? if it is running good, don't kick sleeping bears!! if you decide to change things (cams ect) them maybe get some system but as it is now , it sounds like its all good as is, especially if money is tight

The bike runs but a little eratic and a few popping on decel, I mean I can live with it until spring. I just lost the little power that I did have on top end and mid range acel.
