Both of them look good but I'm really drooling over the chrome ones. I'm trying to fight it but getting weaker and weaker ...

The one thing I'm not crazy about is that the 18" in the rear makes the bike look higher.

You can use this calculator to figure out overall wheel diameter on any tire/wheel combination. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tir...0r18-100-80r19

I went with the chrome Agitators, 19" front 18" back and the ride is great so far and the bike sets well.

It's deceiving. Yes, you will see more of the rear wheel with the 18" wheel versus the 16" wheel. But what you must realize is that the tire that is fitted to the 18" wheel has shorter sidewalls than the tire on the 16" wheel. This difference minimizes the seat height increase to only about 1/2" while allowing more of the rear Agitator wheel to be visible.

Don't do it! Your bike will be a half inch higher and your feet won't touch the ground! Then you'll tip over at the stop lights and everybody will point and laugh!

I am getting the Chisel wheels to stay at the stock sizes. And also to Many agitators out there on the street. Just this past weekend i saw (Well my wife brought it to my attention) 13 bikes parked at a rally and 7 of them had agitators on them just in that row! and guess what yes of that 7 5 were black street glides! LOL

Back when I was researching the heights of the respective tires, I thought it wasn't even that much; I thought it was closer to a quarter inch...

One word for it, Agitators are cheap. Actually they look more expensive and for that reason I've given them the nod if I were to go to chrome wheels. But now, since you burst my bubble with wheel statistics, I think I'm going to look around at other wheels, maybe doing an exchange with the stockers. Like someone else said here, I've been thinking about and stressing over doing a wheel upgrade for a long time, but my other "hobbies" have gotten in the way.

I just have to do something about those obese 16" RK wheels and since we are talking wheel sizes, I want to go conservative and not chance making a wheel change having a negative effect on handling or riding comfort. That is why I'm thinking 18" on the front and my question is what size rear wheel is compatible with the 18" front? Basically I'm looking for stock performance and with the wheel change, don't want any surprises. Thanks

I love the look of aggitators! Go Black & Chrome on Sedona, just my 2 cents.
