Top speed of your street glide

Saw a Kawasaki doing close to triple of what traffic was doing going the other way on the highway.... Guy pulled out in front of him and he hit a guardrail head on. His bike's magnesium wheel disintegrated, him and his brains were easily 300 feet farther up the highway. His helmet another 300 feet.

Ummm. Maybe referring to another post about bikes doing 150? So you watched a video of of a cat losing it. What's your point?

'14 Street glide special
When I had this bike last I looked at spedo it was 110 and I took it a little further before dropping back. I went past a statey shooting rader and he didn't bother coming after me. A brother of mine has a CVO electra glide with the 110 ci and said he hit a wall at around 120. Dealer told him there is a computer controlled limiter at 118

When I had S&S 551 cams, new chrome forks, new Enforcer wheels with Commander II tires, I took her down to bike week. Heading into Salisbury I had to get away from a group of a dozen bikes that wouldn't do a constant speed, going from 50 to 80..... Decided to pass them.... twisted the wick and off I went. Started coming up on a cager in my lane... like it was heading towards me. Looked down at the tach and then speedo..... Don't remember exact numbers, but tach was over 4500 R's and speedo said 128. Made it past the group, merged into their lane as I slowly let her slow. I have no desire to do that again. But I can say, there was no wobble and the engine ran great. Who said there was an engine limiter?

2013 Limited, two-up and fully loaded. 119MPH (GPS) top speed, 110 tire shredder kit with stock intake 5.3 inj, FM 2-1-2 and S&S 557 cams. Running PV with target tune and a dyno from Speeds Performance. A guy on a Victory with no tour pack or passenger gave me the thumbs up as I pulled ahead.

In 1996 I was able to muscle myself into a brand new Dyna Convertible. Before I left the Dealer I had what has come to be known as a Stage One upgrade. It was slip-on mufflers, a high flow air cleaner backing plate, and a set of jets. I got her home, installed the "go-fast" parts, and headed to my buddies up in Wisconsin. We rang her out as fast as she would go, and 106-107 was all she had in her.
Fast forward to 2013. I bought my only other "brand new" motorcycle. I have since pushed her to WELL OVER the 110 mark. She now has a true stage one upgrade and I am perfectly confident she would roll 120 any time I wanted. I have never had cause to push that 120 number, but that's my position, and I'm sticking too it!!!
