Front Fork Air Baffle on a Road King Classic
#4
there make a minor difference with the batwing.
I put one on my Pal's FLHTK and he didn't notice a difference--- and didn't know I'd had installed it until i asked him at lunch- 4 hours riding at 70 mph.
they were standard on the evo baggers, no longer- i wonder if they disrupt cooling air to the motor
I have the one from my evo on the 09... i dunno, but I am not that wind sensitive.
tahoe or kia aside, a bike will be breezy- and sometime no windscreen is better on a non-fairing model--- there is air, but it's all going in the same direction

I just put my fork baffle on about two weeks ago. I've run 600-700 miles or so with it now and it does seem to make a difference as far as buffeting. It's a bit smoother behind the windshield now than before. It's worth the $25 to add it if you have any issues with buffeting.
I havent noticed any difference in oil temps since adding the baffle. In fact I wonder if the baffle might deflect wind down towards the front cylinder head at a better angle than it does without it.
Don't have fork deflectors, maybe some day I'll give those a try, but for now I'm happy as-is.
