Default Primary cover gasket

1st off, posting here because I know it will be seen/answered. I have the type primary cover that uses the round cardboard type gasket with silicone type sealing. Can these be re-used or should I just buy a new one when I change my primary fluid this fall?

you might get away with it, you may not. I always love doing the same job over , because of a 3.00 gasket. Let me put it to you this way, I don't think any professional mechanic would use it over again, that said do what ever your heart tells you

Where are you all getting these gaskets for $3 bucks? My dealer has them around $11.

That said, I'll be replacing them. $11 is still less expensive to me that having more Redline shipped, and disposing of the old stuff twice cause of a leaky gasket that I reused.

Replace it instead of taking the risk that it might not leak....If it leaks, you'll be pissed doing the same job over again.

$2? $3? HUH?

When you pull it, if it looks 'good enough' it probably is.
