SE Compensator

SE Compensator
I currently have 42,000 miles and 5 riding seasons on my 07 Road King. Bike is running fine but was wondering about changing to a SE Compensator once riding season for me is over. Is it something that will make a noticeable difference? Is it something I should do even though I'm not noticing anything that would indicate the stock compensator is going bad? You guys that have changed out to a SE Comp. please let me know your thoughts.

No mechanic here. Just love riding. So don't know what you mean. I guess I mean it has the OEM comp. that came on the bike when I bought it. Haven't changed it.

I have never had the 'bang' on startup but I do get the sewing machine noise which does seems a little louder than it used to be but considered it probably normal for a Harley.
