Question Police Seat

Why most of people buy a police bike and change the seat?

I know that the police seat is the most confortable...

What do you think?

I like mine. It was on my Bros 04 RK, and I love it.

I just changed mine last night. I thought about keeping it but I just couldn't find a pillion to match that I liked. My main reason for getting the bigger bike was for riding two up so off it came...

I wish there was a quicker way to swap the cop seat with a 2 up seat. I certainly use the cop seat but it takes me about 45 mins to take off or put on the cop seat.

I was happy to pay all of $125 off eBay for my cop seat set up 9 years ago, still have it on my road king. I bought a pillion from Mustang (for $220) for the ladies and all have said its comfortable; it takes all of 2 minutes and one phillips screw to go from solo to two-up. Even had the seat reupholstered last winter for $90 at a local shop. I have an issue with my back and I couldn't ride the miles I do without it. For those few that have test driven it, all have remarked how smooth the bike feels with that seat. It really does make a difference.

I just built a custom bagger from an 05 police road king. Took off the seat and have all the parts if anyone needs one. They are really comfortable but I put a sidekick on it so I can sit low.

the cop bike seats are supposed to be the most comfortable, and if it could be done i'd use one on my 08 sg. but i got a roadglide seat for it and am happy. next new harley will probably be an electraglide cop bike though. good information on the cop bike seats though, thanks.

The 09 Police bike does not seem as comfortable as past years, not sure if it is the new frame or if it is a different seat.
