Want to paint the cd cover Harley Davidson white lettering black. Want to know if there is a way I can pop it off without breaking it. Or taking out the entire radio.

well to pop the radio face off i know the radio needs to come out

 

All I can think of is a flame torch or a hammer and chisel, either of those sound good?

 

I removed the CD cover off of my radio, but the radio was out of the bike when I did it.

There is a stainless steel rod that goes through eyelets in the cover and the radio faceplate. I carefully bent the cd cover and rod until I could disengage it from the radio faceplate. It was a little scary but I didn't see any other way, and all turned out ok.

Doing that with the radio installed would really be tough, maybe even impossible.
