How is the quality with the HCC stuff?

And...

Did you get just the bars from them, the kit, or the soup-to-nuts everything version?

I'd like to hear about your experience with them - had my eye on them for a while now.

Yes i did buy the kit. Bars, cables, wires, brake lines. HCC was great to deal with. Great quality. And fast shipment.I did the install myself and im very happy with the look of the bike.

Love my Santee 11"s $90 at J&P. But I went high end on the cables with all Black Pearl +6".

17" Santee's, 6"over on cables and brake line, NO WIRE extensions, just rearranged the wire in the fairing. Control wire stick out the bottom of the bars just enough. Perfect for me. Best bet is to find someone who has the setup your looking for and sit on it and check out the feel. I though I wanted shorter bars until I sat on a couple of friends rides.

Pit1600, Did you have to replace the clutch cable or brake line?

It seems 12" or so is what I'm looking for, as wide as possible and minimal pull back.

Cyclesmiths felt really nice and the HCCs seem to also fit the bill with the total package.

Thinking about doing the very same later this year or income tax refund time...

I prefer the ones that look more like the stock bend, instead of the aggressive 90 degree shape.
