I have the diamond cuts on my ultra. I wouldn't powder coat the jugs as the color difference from the case wouldn't look right. The heads and jugs are enough to get a bit of bling. On my bike it really doesn't stand out, its just another thing until you look (focus) on that part of the bike.

I also just had mine done by Diamond Heads in Henderson... I took mine apart, sent the heads and jugs to them, they did the show cut, then shipped them directly to Jamie at Fuel Moto for me. They were great to work with, really fast turn around, and for $525.00 ($25.00 coupon from their website) I think it is a huge cosmetic improvement! Good luck on your build!

Here is there web site. http://www.diamond-heads.com/home.html

By the way 3,500 miles on the diamond cut and it looks like the day I got it.

they are the only ones that do it, they have a patent on the process. I have the work on both of my bikes, makes a huge difference in appearance, and adds that custom touch that very few have, if ya got the money, do it!! your black will look fine on there

The reason why you are cutting them is for the "bling factor."

If you get them diamond cut and then powder coated, I think that you would be wasting your $ but if the powder coat is in bad shape have them powder coated first and then cut..but no point in covering up "the bling."

Then while you're @ it, you might as well have your heads massaged too w/a stage 1, clean up/multi angle valve cut..
It's another $500+ but it would significant HP and TQ I would think that would really go with your Fat Cat...
I mean since you're already going the distance..lolol..

Yeah planning on FM 107 level B heads ported TB, manual compression release, domed pistons for 10.5-1 compression ratio. Figured I'd go ahead and bling the outside as well
