Default 2008 FLHX shuts off going down the road

I'm looking for any info that will help. I have a 2008 Street Glide that shuts off going down the road. The radio seems to shut off before the bike dies, but the bike doesnt always die when the radio shuts off. any ideas?

Are you using the original battery? Have it checked out. Could be a pinched wire???

Start by checking the main switch. I had a similar problem on a Softail once. I used some electrical contact cleaner on mine, and solved the problem.

I had a similar problem when I hit bumps, it ended up it was the connection on the positive battery inside the connector, wires separated from metal contact, but it you couldn't see it so it wasn't evident.

I was also told that you should clean and grease (dielectric) each of the major electrical connections.
