5'4" on a 2006 Road King Classic. Rear shocks lowered by Bitchin Baggers from 13 inches to 11 3/4", Stock Seat lowered and nose shaved by Mean Cycles, Kromewerks Stretch Heritage Style Handlebars ( Ok, will go to Wildone's soon). Feet on the ground, and riding in style. might
lower bike in the front in the summer.

I am 5'4" with a 29" inseam. I used Arnott Air's 12" "Aldan" system which is perfect for backing up the bike. I also went with HD's Profile Low front for kit. Then I had a "nose job" done on my wide stock seat. It was perfect!

Thanks for all the input. Really appreciate it. I looked online at the Arnott Aldan system....pretty expensive but I've always wanted an air ride....and to be able to control the height.

Be carefull how far you lower the back end if you ride 2up. Anything more than 1" and you're going to bottom out unless you really jack up the air pressure and then you'll have a very harsh ride.

I am 5'7" 28" inseam .

First thing i bought for my 2008 FLHRC was the jiffy stand exstention kit ,it was like $30 .

Then i sent my stock seat to MeanCity and had them lower and narrow it several inchs . This was a thrifty $150 including shipping ,way cheaper than buying an expensive new seat looks good super comfey as i had some memorey foam added.

I just bought some 12" street glide air shocks and i will soon swap them out for my 13" stock shocks . the shocks were takeoffs i bought on ebay $44.50+ $15 shipping .

Get some good boots with a thick sole and big heal ,get your local cobler to ad a 1/2" to sole and heal buy them 1/2 size larger and put a thick insole pad in them.

I also rilted the bars about 2.5 inchs lower and closer . cost free

The best part about being able to adjust it is that I can air up to stock ride height when cruising. I would never slam a bike using brackets. It's harsh like a go-cart!!

I just got a 2012 RKC and I'm 5'7".

I'm still getting used to it. It's not riding that's hard, it's all the stuff you do before and after riding (parking, backing out of/into a space) that kills you.

So far I've lowered the front and rear 1" (Progressive monotubes in the front cause they're expensive to replace so I got good ones) and HD air ride 12" shocks in the back (because they're easy to replace and I didn't want to pay now). I also got Wild Ones 508 bars and a Badlander seat - it was ok but not great. I still didn't have the leverage to move into and out of a tricky parking space.

I sent my OEM seat to Mean City Cycles for the "super narrow" mod...should be getting it back in about 2 weeks - we'll see how that works.
