Default Broke the volume control switch on streetglide

I have sorted through post about this but havent found an answer to my question. I need to replace the swicth considering the brass post on mine broke off. Problem is I have 14 in wildone chubby apes and my wires are ran through my bars. Is there a way of fixing this issue with out removing the bars? i am okay at soldering but where should I solder the new switch in at?

Here's what the switch looks like and you can see the leads on the switch which should give you an idea as to where in the loom they will be soldered based upon the length. Should be fairly doable as you can simply unhook the plug at the bottom and pull out only a little bit to get to where you need.

I would solder them after you splice/twist them as it will be a stronger hold under the heat shrink.

A helpful tip: once the switch housing is opened, and the plate securing the audio switch is removed, pullback the PVC loom, then zip tie it temporarily to provide a bit more working room on the wires. Once the repair is made, cut the zip tie and allow the PVC loom to return to its original position.

Your HD Service Manual will have info and, IIRC, a picture of how to route the wiring and use the zip ties pictured with the switch by Dawg, after the switch is replaced
