Default Harbor Freight Lift Tables

I am trying to start doing more of my own work on my 03 FLHTI, I have a coupon for Harbor Freight 1000 lb capasity lift table, anybody used one of these lift tables before? and what do you think? any imput would be great. My coupon is for $299.00. I figure for that kind of money, it is a win win thing for the average garage tool pusher and beginner.

I have one and love it. I did put a wheel chock on instead of the wheel vise that comes with it.

I have the yellow 1500 pound capacity HF lift and it is fine for a weekender working on his scooter. It is just barely too tall to go underneath without putting a 2 X 4 under the stand, then it slides underneath. Your coupon should get at least 2 of either lift. If anyone knows how to slow the rate of descent on that thing, I'd appreciate learning how. The rate it comes down is rather alarming the first few times. Yes, I know to press the pedal all the way down for the slowest descent rate.

Its a good lift. my sg has been up on mine all winter. Just becareful as it is narrow so loading and loding is a little tough. The wheel chock on it is useless so get a better one and you will have a nice lift

Got it, works fine. Mount the HF wheel chock on it though as the vise is crappy. I made some outriggers out of 2x6s to give me more room to walk it on & off.

Love my Harbor Freight lift, I added 6" on both sides using angle braces and diamond plate on top to give you extra grip with your feet and extra surface for laying your tools and parts on. Don't be to alarmed when it seems to come down rather fast, and also put a wheel chock on and forget the "vise" supplied with it!

Lots of info about this lift, do a search and study. Many like the lift table, most say get a better chock. I'm sure it's OK, just be safe and lock it out when up, wings would be good as I hear it's a little narrow. Good luck with your decision.

Great lift...I own one. I wish it was a little wider but that's my only weak criticism (besides the included wheel vise...piece of crap!) It is fine for the DIY'er. I bought the extended warranty on mine so it is protected for two years from the date of purchase. That's some pretty good peace of mind.

Great lift for a crowded garage. Here is mine with a Sporty on it. Note I have screwed 2 x 6" boards to the wheel chock. For my Road King I switched to 1 x 6" boards.

One of the things I like most about the HF table lift is that I can store it on it's side when it is not in use.
