Awhile back I had alot of parts PCed Gloss black, I had the chrome trim work around my front fender done, however the front light mount is ABS plastic what is the best way to get it painted gloss black??? IE rattle can?? which type / brand of gloss black paint, Primer, sanding ECT???
I have messed with ABS in the back and I must not have preped right because it looked great finished however the paint was very weak and chipped very easy. any help would be great.

I usually scuff it good then apply a good epoxy primer then paint. You could also get a spray bomb of self etching primer and try that also but I dont know how it would work on ABS. I do know that epoxy sticks to everything and its a bitch to get off. Dont ask me how I know this . I think the fairings outer and inner are abs now and I just scuffed mine (the inner)primed it with epoxy primer and shot the paint over it . No problems at all .
