I'm looking for a skilled dyno tuner in North Dallas area. The local Hd shop in Allen has a dyno but don't have any info on how good they are. Firm believer in hiring skills I certainly don't have.

I am getting a lot of popping on decel and plenty of backfired. Looked for air leaks and found one on the crossover underneath. That helped but not cured. I can almost make it backfire on command now.

Also, i have the V&H dual with twin slash mufflers and have a strange whistle intermittently coming from the exhaust. Anyone else have this problem. Maybe i need to take another look for leaks?

 

ED @ THEDYNODIFFERENCE! He just tuned my bike 2 weeks ago.Here in Okc they pulled 92hp and 105 tq knowing it was bullshit I asked the same question and was refered to ED at the dyno difference.He pulled 110hp and 121 tq.He is one hell of a guy to boot.

Ed at The Dynodifference is the only guy in the dallas area that i'm aware of that's going to squeeze every ounce of power out of your bike. he's a very well established tuner with a lot of happy customers.

 

Piper Performance in Decatur. Cliff relocated up there recently and he comes highly recommended over here in Tarrant County.

 

Check out Judd Cowley Cycles in Wylie. He can tune any brand including Direct Link. He's certified for HD warranty work and does many local police bikes. He's fair, honest, and has talked me out of spending money with him that he didn't believe would deliver real performance.

Anyone have an exhaust whistle? I haven't found a rough weld or burr or anything like that. Curious about others with this issue and the fix.
