I'm running Focal VB 165 components with Arc Audio amp. Sound fantastic parked and up to 60mph. Above 60mph they play loud, don't distort and I can understand the lyrics. That's about all you can ask for in the m/c environment...

I am from Germany and want to Upgrade my fairing speakers in my FLHX 2013. I will install a Rockford Fosgate PBR300x2.
Because of the good posts for the Hertz speakers I checked the specs.
I am afraid that the Hertz speakers are too Heavy for the fairing and will cause damages or Bad driving characteristics. The Magnet ist very massive. Can you Tell me your experiences?
The Polk System ist Not available in Germany.
The alpine spr60 would be available. Is it lighter than the Hertz sytem?

I have the Hertz HSK 165 XL component speakers in the fairing with no issues.

 

No rockfordfosgate punch speakers?? I use them and love them

 

Not 6.5"s but the Biketronices 7.1" speakers by HAT seem to to be the current "hot " setup for amped fairing sound.
