Default Wild Ones 578's

I did this bar install on my bike a couple of weeks ago and couldnt be happier with the finish result. The actually labor was fairly easy and nothing the common wrencher can't tackle. Followed all instructions on replacing clutch cable in the manual, and took the fairing loose to get to the handlebar clamp bolts. Had a buddy help me take the handlebar wiring connectors apart and fish the wires. A little WD-40 and some weed eater string made the wiring a cinch honestly, wasnt near as hard as I thought it would be...

I went +4 inches on the clutch cable as instructed by the WO tech staff, and all wiring was long enough to have plenty room. Im picky picky on my stuff I put on my bike and these bars exceed my expectations on quality and fit.

On the wiring all I did was move the plugs to under the radio and there was slack left over to be comfortable with. Kinda took some careful work to move the loom but no biggie.. Connectors plugged in no problem when done. Also, I did move the brake line out of its little harness by the steering neck to give it a little more slack. Prob didnt need to but made me feel better!

These bars definitely feel better and give me better riding posture. Im about 6 foot tall and they are a great fit and look great. After about a 100 mile test i did adjust them a little closer to me and that was the ticket for my personal comfort.

For the guys that got a PM from me asking about their install tips and info THANK YOU for your help. I can see me doing this job again soon on my bro's SG after mine was the guinea pig. Heres a couple pics

Glad you like them....I am planning on putting the 578's or 12" Carlini's on my 14 SGS this winter.

Bike looks beautiful with the new bars installed. Mine is currently at the dealer for winter storage. I'm having the same Wild 1 bars installed as well. I think the 578's look the best (jmho). There are some members here who installed the same bars and have posted pics, you definitely made the right choice. Enjoy...

I have these as well--great bars. They also "look"like they belong on the bike. In other words, some other angular designs don't look right to me unless the bike itself is heavily (cosmetically) modded... JMHO...
