I have used hair spray and it works pretty good, but have found it to
come loose if you get caught in alot of rain, thats why I use pvc pipe cement, I have never had it come loose and its cheap...
Now that is something I never thought of but makes sense. Ever have to remove a grip with that?.. how difficult?
Not trying to hijack this thread....but why are you taking them off? I just bought a pair of Avon's and will be putting them on later this week. Did you like them?

If you are using a normal grip glue type of thing, don't worry. You might have to use a little heat to soften it up, but you'll be able to get it off. Just like people said here... get a good grip with some mechanics gloves and twist. You don't do that kind of twisting normally so they seem like they are really on there..... but you'd be surprised how easy you can make em move if ya get a good grip and keep twisting.
