Living in the UK, where every other brand of bike is metric, I carry a comprehensive tool kit, in a sturdy bag. Everything else I put in my bags or tourpak goes in my Harley lift-out bags, so I don't have anything rattling around. It's worked fine like that for me for over 20 years!

+ A billion. Did this same mod. It was well worth the $15 bucks it cost me. My buddy has the Drag Specialties one. He wish he would have did what I did. Everyone should do this mod. Good luck.

It's too late. Your new bike has already had time to become attached to your old towel. I too hate to scratch my tool on a zipper.

That's funny... Moved my tools from old bike to new... I replaced the zip-lock bag AND wrapped in new shop towels.

I found it in the automotive department. One roll did both bags.

My dealer gave me a set of H-D soft bags when i bought my bike. I thought that they were included with all the touring bikes!

I find the HD liners work well and they can be easily removed when I need to use the travel bag liners.

Are they removable or permanently installed?
